I spent 7 years in Hawaii doing R&D and production of herbal supplements and medicines. A Federal raid onto the Care Waialua community co-op & farm in October of 2023 brought this wonderful venture to an end and got me moved to Arizona. During this time I perfected many traditional and chemistry processes and created a full line of cannabis and mixed herbal remedies. The equipment and lab are lying idle on the North Shore of Oahu, island, Hawaii. I would happily gift all of the equipment to a person or organization that would like to have it all. The main issue would be the shipping cost of having it all mailed or delivered. I have two large tubs of lab equipment here in Arizona that are also sitting idle. The lab value is about $30,000. Making money from herbal medicines is not easy. However, it would be a great asset to a community to have access to process herbs that are cultivated locally. Processing botanicals greatly increases their shelf life and allows easier administration. Local cultivators would be able to have their plant materials converted into useful medicines. Possibilities range from proof of concept R&D to generation of proprietary formulae & laboratory SOPs. Commercial production: tinctures, tars, capsules, sublingual sprays, vape-cartridges, lotions, infused edibles, sublingual lozenges, suppositories & bath soaks. Additionally community classes could be given to help aspiring herbalist to get their hands on real equipment. The Equipment: 5L glass steam distillation unit. Makes essential oils and terpenes in 90min. 5L & 2L commercial short path distillation unit. Fractionates tars into vapor under vacuum for ultimate purification and component isolation. Coldfinger: Extraction / Recapture Ethanol unit. Bi-phasic Soxhlet percolation of strong tinctures in 12-24h (up to 8lb). Then solvent recapture; ranging from liquid to tar final product. Filtration: multi phase purification / filtration of tinctures under vacuum. Options include; cryo, carbon / silicon scrub & variable micron level sieves / filters. Full production lab hand tools and various instruments collected and refined over 7 years of active use.
